BEHOLD!!!! I LIVE!

Hello all! I have been off the map for the last... however long, and I figured I should send out a confirmation of life. Things have been interesting here. I am kinda blue this weekend because I could not make it to Otakon, but it isn't the end of the world. I was sick this past week, and it was also a bit of a downer. In fact, I have had several downers this week. Everyone has left for school, got sick, gas prices are soaring like condors, didn't seen shannon for half of the week and went through actual withdrawal. I am a sad man. But good news.

*drum roll please*


I HAVE A JOB! That's right, a stable job, gainful employment! I have a job reading electric meters for Progressive Energy, and it is great on three levels. It gets me off of my fat kiester, something I was much in need of. Second, it pays $9.50 an hour, on a forty hour week. I get payed on fridays, this means that I can START MAKING TRIPS TO GREENSBORO! And lastly, this job has let me see parts of Cary I never would be able to see normally. Like SAS Institute, everywhere in SAS. Including Mr Goodnight's house. Let me tell everyone that electric meters at SAS are in crazy places. It is a scavanger hunt to find them.

So I saw Unleashed last night, the Jet Li film, and I adored it. It wasn't your standard Kung Foo movie. The story was good, and the cast played well in my opinion. I am pretty certain Hokuto would squee herself to death watching it though, Jet Li does some adorable things.
